Terence is a tractor that lives on Sodor. He first appeared in "Tank Engine Thomas Again#Thomas, Terence and the Snow" ploughing a field. Thomas insulted his caterpillar tracks, but regretted it after Terence pulled him from a snowdrift. Terence was later mentioned in "More About Thomas the Tank Engine#The Runaway" as befriending Duck while he did Thomas' work. He also did Percy's shunting work at Ffarquhar while Percy was at the harbour. His last appearance to date in the Railway Series was in "Thomas and Victoria#Toby's Vintage Train".
In the television series, he first appeared in the first season and last appeared in the seventh season.
