Gertrude and Millicent are two coaches which the Skarloey railway bought while Skarloey was being mended. They run on bogies, which led Sir Handel to consider them the only "proper" coaches on the Skarloey Railway. They were built for the Mid-Sodor by Metropolitan Carriage and Wagon in 1898 a, new bogies built by the Skarloey from 1955 and acquired by the Skarloey in 1958.
