Michael Brandon (born Brooklyn, New York, April 20, 1945) is an American actor who narrated the American version of "Thomas and Friends" from the seventh season up to the eleventh season. He also narrated "Calling All Engines", "On Site with Thomas" and the "Engines and Escapades" DVD.
He first narrated "Harold and the Flying Horse", "Bulgy Rides Again" and "Salty's Stormy Tale" with Mike O'Donnell & Junior Campbell's music on the "Thomas and the Jet Engine & Other Adventures" video and DVD, but only narrates with Robert Hartshorne's music.
He also redubbed four episodes from the "New Friends for Thomas" video and DVD and his first three episodes with Robert Hartshorne's music on PBS Kids Sprout.
Brandon has appeared in other such television shows and movies, such as "Dempsey and Makepeace", "The Nanny", "Dinotopia", "Are You Ready for Love?", "The Division", "Ally McBeal", "Murder She Wrote" and "Try This One for Size".
He was first married to Lindsay Wagner. He later married to Glynis Barber, who is an actress from "Dempsey and Makepeace".
